Vasavi Public School Hosts Grand Investiture Ceremony, Air Commodore Hrushikesh Jagannath Page Graces Occasion as Chief Guest

Vasavi Public School buzzed with excitement on June 28, 2025, as it held its much-anticipated Investiture Ceremony at the Government College of Physical Education. This significant event marked the formal induction of the new student council for the academic year 2025-26, empowering young leaders for the year ahead. The esteemed ceremony was greatly honored by the presence of Air Commodore Sri. Hrushikesh Jagannath Page, Air Officer Commanding who served as the Chief Guest. His inspiring presence adding a profound sense of gravitas and motivation to the occasion.

 Adding to the distinguished gathering were the school’s Treasurer, Sri. Parthasarathi, and Academic Director, Smt.  Jaishree Rao, all of whom observed the unfolding of this pivotal event. The ceremony was adeptly orchestrated by Principal Mr. Srinivas Reddy, ensuring a smooth and memorable program.

 The ceremony commenced with the symbolic lighting of the lamp, a revered tradition signifying the ushering in of knowledge and the dispelling of ignorance. This was followed by a truly impressive march past by the newly appointed student leaders. Exuding discipline and pride, their synchronized movements to the beat of the band captivated all present, setting a tone of commitment and readiness.

 The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the official conferral of badges and sashes upon the elected prefect council members. Each student leader, with solemnity and determination, pledged to uphold the values of the school, discharge their duties with unwavering integrity, and lead by example, promising to be beacons for their peers.

Treasurer Sri. Parthasarathi suggested the prefect council to practice consistently, always speak perfectly, positively and encouraged to work with discipline and punctuality, performing responsibilities that add value to the school’s legacy, and to set an example by embracing the quote ”Actions speak Volumes”.

 Addressing the eager assembly, Air Commodore Sri. Hrushikesh Jagannath Page delivered a remarkably insightful and motivating speech. He passionately emphasized the critical importance of leadership, responsibility, and perfection in the work. “Leadership is not merely about holding a position; it’s about inspiring others, making a positive impact, and rising up consistently he articulated, encouraging the young leaders to boldly embrace challenges and consistently strive for excellence in all their endeavours and advised the students to chase the passions in their lives. Following his inspiring words, Academic Director Smt. Jaishree Rao  congratulated the students and strongly urged the student council to rigorously uphold the motto of the school – ‘Learn to Serve’ and focus on core values of the school in their every action.

 The memorable ceremony concluded with the resonant singing of the National Anthem, fostering a deep sense of patriotism and unity among everyone present, a fitting end to an inspiring day.
